NEW - Piece of Esterházy Cake

from 20.50

Giclée print of a beautiful Esterházy torte which consists of buttercream spiced with cognac or vanilla, sandwiched between four and five layers of almond meringue dough. It is reckoned to have been invented by Budapest confectioners in the late 19th century and it is also popular in Austria.

The original painting is painted with watercolor, color pencil, soft pastel, goauche and graphite.

The prints are available in 2 sizes:

  • A4 - 11.7 inches by 8.3 inches (29.7 cm by 21 cm)
  • A3 - 16.5 inches by 11.7 inches (42 cm by 29.7 cm)

Each print is printed on demand on high quality and acid free Hahnemühle German Etching® fine art archival paper, crafted to resist deterioration for centuries. The paper weighs 285 g/m² and is 100% cellulose in white. The paper has a smooth, velvety surface which gives this paper a fine surface texture.

Signed & dated by hand with pencil. The print is not matted or framed. The imaged displayed with a frame is solely for reference purposes.

Ships flat in a protective, acid-free cello sleeve and rigid mailer with added cardboard backing.

Please note that colors may vary slightly because monitors are calibrated differently.
