Giclée print of Kadomatsu which a traditional Japanese New Year's decoration placed in pairs in front of homes to welcome deity Toshigami-sama who will, in return, bring happiness. The original painting is painted with watercolor, colored pencil, metallic pigments and graphite.
The prints are available in 3 sizes:
- Postcard/Greeting Card - 4.8 inches by 7 inches (12.2 by 17.8 cm)
- A5 - 5.8 inches by 8.3 inches (14.8 cm by 21 cm)
- A4 - 11.7 inches by 8.3 inches (29.7 cm by 21 cm)
Each print is printed on demand on high quality and acid free Hahnemühle German Etching® fine art archival paper, crafted to resist deterioration for centuries. The paper weighs 285 g/m² and is 100% cellulose in white. The paper has a smooth, velvety surface which gives this paper a fine surface texture.
Signed & dated by hand with pencil. The print is not matted or framed. The imaged displayed with a frame is solely for reference purposes.
Ships flat in a protective, acid-free cello sleeve and rigid mailer with added cardboard backing.
Prints are sealed within an acid free plastic envelope and mailed flat in a rigid cardboard envelope.
